It Seems to Me………...

Next weekend (July 31-August 1) will be Celebration Weekend.

Many parishes, including ourselves, are extending a final invitation to families who have not yet responded to the needs the campaign addresses. We have not yet contacted many of you personally by telephone.

Through the generosity of 9,000 plus families and individuals we

have raised $21,120,000 toward the campaign goal of

$22,000,000.

As we continue the campaign in St. Mary’s we receive back 50%

of the pledged amount. Not only will we join 79 parishes in supporting the diocese, we will be able to repair a portion of the alley, prevent winter ice from the doorway of the hall, add an outdoor light for the front entrance of the church, and make other

repairs to the hall.

With this final weekend we will channel monies to support various ministries-Faith Formation, Worship and Prayer, Parish Life, Charity and Justice, and others.

Next weekend there will once again be commitment cards in the

pews.
