R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a spiritual journey of faith to discover what it means to follow Jesus as a Catholic Christian.  The R.C.I.A. welcomes those who are not baptized, those who are baptized Christians and wish to enter the Catholic Church and baptized Catholics who wish to complete their Sacraments of Initiation through First Eucharist and/or Confirmation.  The Rites or “mileposts” along the journey help to continually discover God’s path and expectations for each person.  .  For more information contact Father Hitch 886-2506 or tiptonsm@netwtc.net. Brochures available in the gathering space.

  1. * Are you yearning for something more in your life?

about. Sunday, August 30, after Mass.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the normal process whereby a non-baptized person seeks Christian Baptism and entrance into the Church or a baptized non-Catholic Christian seeks to be received into the Catholic Church. Beginning in July we are taking the preliminary steps leading to the R.C.I.A. Our first step is to put together an R.C.I.A. Team. Next week we will include information on being part of the core Team. In fact, each one of us is a part of the team.
